BS EE-4C

Introduction
With the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are many knowledge and experiences that were missed that could have helped the BS Electrical Engineering Students of Bicol University in preparing for the real life experiences that will come when they graduate and work in the electrical engineering field. As a result, as part of their curriculum, a series of webinars had been held in order to further add to their knowledge as well as acquire the information needed for them to excel in the workplace and know and understand the current trends of society with respect to their field. Groups were assigned to prepare and host one of these webinars. This terminal report will present how the webinar “PLC Logic Controller and PLC Based Motor Control” was prepared, what happened before, during and after the webinar, as well as the contribution of each and every member for the webinar to be successful.
The group members are as follows:
Daniel Ezra Octeza (Leader)
Charmaine Nidua
Rizza Llamera
Joshua Quililan
Emmanrey Nares
Patrick John Thomas
Jared Hans Cabaccang
Jennifer Aperin
Jennie Lunas
Zarez Alvarez
Raizza Mae Merca
Arvin Espinar
With the group members complete, all was in place to prepare for the webinar that they will host.
Preliminaries
In order for the webinar to be successful, preliminary files and actions were done and were assigned to each group member.

1. Letter of Invitation to Speaker

Daniel Ezra Octeza, as the group leader, was assigned with the task of searching for the webinar speaker as well as coordinating with the said speaker. In line with this, he prepared the official Letter of Invitation to the Speaker whom they have chosen. The Speaker is Engr. Ricardo C. Cleofe, who is currently Teacher III (Mechatronics Servicing NC II and EIM NC II Teacher) of SHS-TVL at Tabaco National High School. He is also currently a Part-time Instructor of Programming and Managing PLC at San Francisco Institute if Science and Technology (SFIST). He has experiences on the Electrical Engineering Field and has also been the Speaker of past webinars such as “Mechatronics and Robotics Webinar” which was also held at Bicol University.
With this, the group leader coordinated with the prospect speaker and Engr. Cleofe agreed to be the speaker for the webinar of the group. An official email was sent to him inviting him as the speaker.

6. What was done before the Webinar

Preparing the materials needed for the smooth flow of the webinar would not be enough to ensure its success. That is why there were steps taken in order for the webinar to be promoted as well as for the group members to be more prepared during the actual conducting of the webinar.
First, On march 7, the group had a google meeting where they discussed what they would do before, during, and after the webinar, as well as the individuals that will be assigned in specific tasks needed for the webinar to be successful. The documentation for this meeting is presented below.
